Serving GreenMonkey™ Organic Baby Food as a ‘first’ food will help babies and toddlers to become more open to tasting new natural flavours and foods.
Babies have more taste buds than adults so its important to feed them real food. Starting your baby on the right foods at an early stage of their development is crucial. All ingredients used in GreenMonkey™'s products are 100% pure certified organic, and of the finest New Zealand quality.
If you raise your child on food that is mass produced, bland, beige, and over processed with little or no nutrition, your child may grow up craving the very same foods – high in fat, sugar and of limited nutritional value. Try our products yourself, and you will taste the difference. We recommend that you always check the labels, especially the ingredients list and nutritional facts, look at exactly ‘what’ is in the food you contemplate feeding to your baby.
Unlike most of our competitors, GreenMonkey™ is made from Certified Organic Produce which is entirely sourced from New Zealand without additives and preservatives. As well as being delicious it is super convenient – perfect when you are out and about, served on its own, or as a compliment to your own home cooked meals.
Heating and Storage
GreenMonkey™ can be served hot or cold. GreenMonkey™ can be served straight from the pouch at room temperature making it perfect for when you are out and about.
We recommend you stand the un-opened pouch in a cup of boiling water for 2 minutes. Always check the temperature of the food before feeding your baby.
You can also microwave GreenMonkey™ pouches – tear open pouch, heat in microwave for approx 20 seconds. Remember, all microwaves are different, so check for hot spots.
Our GreenMonkey™ innovative pouch system is shelf stable which means it remains safe when stored at room temperature.
GreenMonkey™ pouches have a shelf life of over six months. You will find the best before date and batch number printed on the back of each pouch. This information enables product traceability of every pouch throughout our supply chain.
Store unopened pouches out of direct sunlight at room temperature. For example, in your pantry or nappy bag.
Once the pouch has been opened, store food in a airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Discard any uneaten food that has been heated.
